01 Who we are
Buy Box Drops is a trading name of LMJ Ventures Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17344454, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for anything described on this page. Ask us anything about it at [email protected].
02 This website collects nothing
There is no account to create here and nothing to fill in. We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics, we do not use advertising or tracking pixels, and this site sets no cookies of its own. If that changes, this page changes first and before it happens.
Two third parties do see something, and you should know which.
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host it processes your IP address and browser details to serve the page and to block attacks.
- Google Fonts supplies the two typefaces. Loading them sends your IP address to Google. We could remove this by hosting the fonts ourselves and we may do so.
03 Links that pay us
We take part in the Amazon Associates programme and other affiliate programmes. When you follow one of our links, the retailer records that the visit came from us, usually with a cookie set by them on their own site. That is how we get paid and it is why the feed can be free.
We receive totals, never people. Amazon tells us how many items were ordered and what commission is due. It does not tell us who bought, what their name is, or what else was in the basket, and we could not find out if we wanted to.
04 The Discord server
Joining the Discord means Discord Inc. processes your data under their own privacy policy, which you accept with them and not with us. As server operators we can see your Discord username, user identifier, the roles you hold and what you post in the server.
We do not sell, rent or share any of it. Leaving the server removes our access to it.
05 If you email us
Mail to [email protected] is delivered to a Google mailbox and kept so we have a record of what was asked and answered. We do not add you to a mailing list and there is no mailing list to be added to.
06 How long we keep things, and your rights
We keep correspondence while it is useful and server data while you are in the server. Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to us holding it, or ask for it in a portable form. Email [email protected] and we will answer inside one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
